Karen Beverly has been a litigation attorney since 2001. She has extensive experience prosecuting and defending cases on behalf of individuals and corporations in courts throughout the Chicagoland area.

Karen earned her psychology degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1997. She attended law school at the University of Denver College of Law where she was a member of the Denver University Law Review.

Immediately after graduating from law school, Karen worked as an associate with the law firm of Heckenbach Ammarell in Denver, Colorado, where she personally handled complex and highly contested litigation, including sophisticated family law matters.

In 2003, Karen moved back to her home town of Chicago and continued her litigation practice at Bollinger Ruberry & Garvey, James M. Hoffman & Associates, and the Hunt Law Group, where she practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability, insurance coverage and defense litigation, and appeals. Karen has personally and successfully handled mandatory arbitrations, bench trials, and jury trials in counties throughout the Chicagoland area, in addition to negotiating favorable and creative settlements for both individual and corporate clients.

Since joining Adamski & Conti LLC in late 2008, Karen has continued to obtain favorable results for clients, including obtaining a $200,000 judgment in a civil assault case, and obtaining dismissal of a $5 million claim against a corporate defendant while succeeding on a motion to dismiss the counterclaims for breach of fiduciary duty.

Karen is licensed to practice law in Colorado (2001), Illinois (2003), and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (2003). She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
