Collaborative Law and Mediation

Karen Conti is a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer and is a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. Mediation is appropriate for all kinds of law. In family law, it allows the parties to negotiate real issues and interests that may not be possible in a court setting. By working collaboratively, parties end up with more of their personal needs met. Issues such as child-support, property division, and visitation are settled by the parties and a mediator, rather than a judge. It is usually less expensive and less contentious than litigation.

Adamski & Conti LLC is available to act as either the mediator of a case, or as your advocate attorney throughout the mediation. If you choose us as your attorney, we can help find a mediator, or vice versa.
