Samantha R. Engel joined Adamski & Conti as an associate in 2005. She practices a wide variety of criminal and civil litigation in state and federal court, including white collar criminal defense, commercial litigation, employment discrimination, business torts, trade secrets, medical and legal professional regulation, civil rights, domestic relations, and adoption and custody disputes. Ms. Engel has handled cases before the circuit courts of Cook, Lake, DuPage, and Kane counties, Illinois Appellate courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the state courts in California and New York.

Ms. Engel was born in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Michigan, Phi Beta Kappa, in 1998, and from The University of Chicago Law School, with honors, in 2001. She is admitted to practice before the Illinois bar, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Ms. Engel previously worked at Winston & Strawn, LLP and Perkins Coie, LLP in their litigation departments. In her spare time, Ms. Engel enjoys travel, golf, softball and all other sports.
